Switch to a professional account<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>If you already have a professional account, then you can skip this step.<\/p>\n<p>You will need a mobile application, because the browser does not have some of the necessary functions.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Log in to your profile and click on the menu button (three bars in the upper-right corner). To connect, you will need the login information for your Instagram account: username and password.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Important!<\/strong> BotHelp does not store authorization data for your account. The connection is performed exclusively on the Instagram* side.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Connecting using Instagram*<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We recommend that you log in to your Instagram account in advance via the official website <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/\">Instagram.com<\/a> in the browser to make sure that there are no problems accessing the account.<br \/>\nIf you are logged into another Instagram account in the browser you are planning to connect through, you have to log out of it in advance.<\/p>\n<p>Let&#8217;s move on to the connection:<\/p>\n<p>1. In BotHelp, go to the &#8220;Settings\u201d section, select the \u201cChannels&#8221; menu item and click the &#8220;Add New Channel&#8221; button.<\/p>\n<p>2. Select Instagram* channel type in the window that opens and click on &#8220;Using Instagram&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"fr-fic fr-dib aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/files.carrotquest.app\/knowledge-bases-images\/articles\/49290\/49290-1737453377913-iavyuqj8.png\" width=\"819\" height=\"462\" \/><\/p>\n<p><em>When &#8220;Using Instagram&#8221; is clicked, you will be redirected to Instagram*.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>3. Instagram* will prompt you to save your login information in this browser. Instagram* will offer to grant the BotHelp application access to your account information, which is necessary for the automation to work.<\/p>\n<p>Make sure that you have provided all necessary permissions. Check if the name is specified in the Instagram* account. The &#8220;Name&#8221; field has to be filled in in the profile settings window, otherwise the channel will not connect.<\/p>\n<p>2. On Instagram*, change your account from professional to personal, then back.<\/p>\n<p>3. In Facebook* Profile\/Privacy Settings -&gt; Business integrations, remove the integration with Bothelp (IMPORTANT: after removing the integration, all Facebook* messenger\/Instagram channel connections made by the user, will be reset. They will have to be reconnected after that).<\/p>\n<p>4. Facebook* and Instagram* integration settings are available in the Instagram* settings \u2014 remove the integration with the Facebook* page there.<\/p>\n<p>5. In Facebook* Business Page settings remove the integration with the Instagram* channel.<\/p>\n<p>6. Connect the Instagram* channel to the Facebook* page.<\/p>\n<p>7.
