With conditions, you can create several possible developments.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"138\" data-end=\"251\">For example, if a person leaves their phone number, one thing happens; if not, another. See other examples below.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"fr-fic fr-dii\" src=\"https:\/\/files.carrotquest.app\/knowledge-bases-images\/articles\/49290\/49290-1725721416835-7r3cwv2l.png\" \/><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"253\" data-end=\"276\"><strong>How to add a condition?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"278\" data-end=\"394\">Conditions are available only in multi-step bots. You can add them using a special block at any stage of the funnel.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"fr-fic fr-dii\" src=\"https:\/\/files.carrotquest.io\/knowledge-bases-images\/articles\/49290\/49290-1648051786499-u2xehdd6.png\" \/><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"396\" data-end=\"404\"><strong>Matching<\/strong><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"406\" data-end=\"536\">When you select more than one condition, there are two options for matching. The condition will trigger if the subscriber matches:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"538\" data-end=\"592\">\n<li data-start=\"538\" data-end=\"565\">\n<p data-start=\"540\" data-end=\"565\">each of these conditions,<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"566\" data-end=\"592\">\n<p data-start=\"568\" data-end=\"592\">any of these conditions.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"594\" data-end=\"656\">For example, the subscriber must provide both email and phone.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" class=\"fr-fic fr-dii\" src=\"https:\/\/files.carrotquest.app\/knowledge-bases-images\/articles\/49290\/49290-1725721466032-xhx1trxm.png\" \/><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"658\" data-end=\"672\"><strong>Each condition<\/strong><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"674\" data-end=\"846\">You can set conditions so the bot checks both the phone and email presence and only then continues the sequence. This requires all specified rules to be met simultaneously.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"848\" data-end=\"861\"><strong>Any condition<\/strong><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"863\" data-end=\"997\">For &#8220;any condition,&#8221; it\u2019s enough to meet at least one rule. The bot continues even if only one contact \u2014 phone or email \u2014 is provided.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"999\" data-end=\"1018\"><strong>Types of conditions<\/strong><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1020\" data-end=\"1023\"><strong>Tag<\/strong><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1025\" data-end=\"1071\">Checks if a specific tag is present or absent.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1073\" data-end=\"1080\"><strong>Matches<\/strong><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1082\" data-end=\"1297\">For example, you assigned a tag to everyone who clicked a link to watch a video. Using this condition, you check if the tag exists. If yes, you send a link to the second video; if not, a reminder to watch the first.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1299\" data-end=\"1313\"><strong>Does not match<\/strong><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1315\" data-end=\"1543\">You can set a condition checking multiple tags. For example, you sell several products and assign a tag after each purchase. To continue the sequence only for those who haven\u2019t bought yet, add all purchase tags to the condition.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" class=\"fr-fic fr-dii\" src=\"https:\/\/files.carrotquest.app\/knowledge-bases-images\/articles\/49290\/49290-1725721544105-xemp159f.png\" \/><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1545\" data-end=\"1557\"><strong>Current time<\/strong><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1559\" data-end=\"1677\">This condition checks the subscriber\u2019s current time relative to the current day and the time zone set in your account.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1679\" data-end=\"1809\">There are two check types: greater than or equal, and less than or equal. After selecting, specify the time to check, e.g., 18:00.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1811\" data-end=\"1972\">Greater or equal means if the current time is equal to or later than 18:00, the condition is true (yes), and the sequence continues. If earlier, it\u2019s false (no).<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1974\" data-end=\"2096\"><strong>Less or equal works oppositely<\/strong>. If the subscriber\u2019s time is earlier than set time, the condition is true; if later, false.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"fr-fic fr-dii\" src=\"https:\/\/files.carrotquest.app\/knowledge-bases-images\/articles\/49290\/49290-1725721577276-p9wi045p.png\" \/><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2098\" data-end=\"2347\">Use this to send different content based on time. For example, for auto-webinars, subscribers signing up in the morning get today&#8217;s webinar; those in the evening get tomorrow\u2019s. You can split subscribers into different sequences with this condition.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2349\" data-end=\"2369\"><strong>Link click in a step<\/strong><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2371\" data-end=\"2462\">This condition checks if a link was clicked in a specific bot step, chosen from a dropdown.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2464\" data-end=\"2564\">Add a step with a link in text or button, then add a delay and a condition block checking the click.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2566\" data-end=\"2604\">If clicked \u2014 condition triggers (yes).<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2606\" data-end=\"2636\">If not \u2014 condition fails (no).<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"fr-fic fr-dii\" src=\"https:\/\/files.carrotquest.io\/knowledge-bases-images\/articles\/49290\/49290-1648051786424-2c27ancx.png\" \/><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2638\" data-end=\"2900\"><strong>(!)<\/strong> This condition does not work for &#8220;Launch mini-app&#8221; buttons, as those links open directly in Telegram without BotHelp analytics. Such buttons will show a notification that the condition can\u2019t be triggered. For &#8220;URL&#8221; type buttons, the condition works properly.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-3056\" src=\"https:\/\/help.bothelp.io\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/09\/screenshot-at-feb-24-17-25-09.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"270\" height=\"158\" srcset=\"https:\/\/help.bothelp.io\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/09\/screenshot-at-feb-24-17-25-09.png 694w, https:\/\/help.bothelp.io\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/09\/screenshot-at-feb-24-17-25-09-300x176.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 270px) 100vw, 270px\" \/><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2902\" data-end=\"3145\"><strong>(!)<\/strong> Run this condition some time after sending the step with the link. Give subscribers time to click. Always place a delay block before the condition check. Set the delay duration based on how long users need to receive the message and click.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"fr-fic fr-dii\" src=\"https:\/\/files.carrotquest.app\/knowledge-bases-images\/articles\/49290\/49290-1725721608501-llk855mc.png\" \/><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"3147\" data-end=\"3320\"><strong>Link modification<br \/>\n<\/strong><br data-start=\"3164\" data-end=\"3167\" \/>The link in the checked step\u2019s message will automatically change for the subscriber to a tracking link like <a class=\"\" href=\"https:\/\/s.bothelp.io\/r\/4rkc0\" target=\"_new\" rel=\"noopener\" data-start=\"3275\" data-end=\"3303\">https:\/\/s.bothelp.io\/r\/4rkc0<\/a> to track clicks.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"fr-fic fr-dii\" src=\"https:\/\/files.carrotquest.io\/knowledge-bases-images\/articles\/49290\/49290-1648051787253-jgigb8r2.png\" \/><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"3322\" data-end=\"3519\"><strong>Link format<br \/>\n<\/strong><br data-start=\"3333\" data-end=\"3336\" \/>Check the link\u2019s correctness \u2014 it must be valid and start with &#8220;https&#8221;. Spaces or Cyrillic characters are not allowed. URL-type buttons\u2019 links can also be tracked with this condition.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"3521\" data-end=\"3532\"><strong>Text fields<\/strong><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"3534\" data-end=\"3681\">Conditions let you check any field. By default, you have fields for \u201cName,\u201d \u201cEmail,\u201d \u201cPhone,\u201d \u201cUTM tags\u201d (one per each). <a href=\"https:\/\/help.bothelp.io\/article\/7120\">Others<\/a> are created by you.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"3683\" data-end=\"3727\">This condition has several matching options.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"3729\" data-end=\"3736\"><strong>Matches<\/strong><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"3738\" data-end=\"3808\">The field exactly matches a specified value, which you enter yourself.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"3810\" data-end=\"3848\"><strong>(!)<\/strong> Case matters in text field checks.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"3850\" data-end=\"4040\">Example: Condition \u201cField matches \u2018Moscow\u2019\u201d triggers only for users who entered exactly \u201cMoscow\u201d as their city. Variants like \u201cMoscw,\u201d \u201cMoscva,\u201d or \u201cMoscow\u201d with different cases won\u2019t match.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" class=\"fr-fic fr-dii\" src=\"https:\/\/files.carrotquest.io\/knowledge-bases-images\/articles\/49290\/49290-1648051786304-8b8c1sxz.png\" \/><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"4042\" data-end=\"4056\"><strong>Does not match<\/strong><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"4058\" data-end=\"4141\">Works like \u201cmatches\u201d but checks the field does NOT equal a specified value you set.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"4143\" data-end=\"4246\">Example: Condition \u201cField does not match \u2018Moscow\u2019\u201d triggers for users whose city field is not \u201cMoscow.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"fr-fic fr-dii\" src=\"https:\/\/files.carrotquest.io\/knowledge-bases-images\/articles\/49290\/49290-1648051786557-r03j8kes.png\" \/><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"4248\" data-end=\"4277\"><strong>Contains and does not contain<\/strong><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"4279\" data-end=\"4359\">Works like matching but checks for presence or absence of any entered substring.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"4361\" data-end=\"4491\">Example: Condition \u201cField contains \u2018Mosc\u2019\u201d triggers for \u201cMoscow,\u201d \u201cMoscva,\u201d \u201cMoscow region,\u201d or any word containing these letters.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"fr-fic fr-dii\" src=\"https:\/\/files.carrotquest.io\/knowledge-bases-images\/articles\/49290\/49290-1648051787624-w92yvu1s.png\" \/><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"4493\" data-end=\"4500\"><strong>Unknown<\/strong><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"4502\" data-end=\"4612\">Triggers if the chosen field is empty. For example, if the person didn\u2019t select a city. Use this to ask again.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"fr-fic fr-dii\" src=\"https:\/\/files.carrotquest.io\/knowledge-bases-images\/articles\/49290\/49290-1648051787055-hgn7nisp.png\" \/><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"4614\" data-end=\"4628\"><strong>Has some value<\/strong><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"4630\" data-end=\"4755\">If the field contains anything (anything at all), the condition triggers. Recommended if you\u2019re unsure what users will write.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"fr-fic fr-dii\" src=\"https:\/\/files.carrotquest.io\/knowledge-bases-images\/articles\/49290\/49290-1648051787127-9ecoezfx.png\" \/><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"4757\" data-end=\"4771\"><strong>Numeric fields<\/strong><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"4773\" data-end=\"4998\">For numeric fields, different conditions apply: equals, greater than, less than, greater or equal, less or equal, not equal, filled, not filled.<br data-start=\"4917\" data-end=\"4920\" \/>Read more about numeric fields and conditions in the article: <a href=\"\/chislovye-polya\/\">Numeric Fields<\/a> \u2197<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" class=\"fr-fic fr-dii\" src=\"https:\/\/files.carrotquest.io\/knowledge-bases-images\/articles\/49290\/49290-1648051787312-cq7ao3uo.png\" \/><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"5000\" data-end=\"5028\"><strong>Current date and day of week<\/strong><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"5030\" data-end=\"5313\">This condition checks the current date and\/or weekday, helping you easily customize funnels for auto-webinars or online schools. Subscribers can be routed to different scenarios depending on the date or day they enter the funnel. You can also set reminders about webinar start times.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"5315\" data-end=\"5379\">Examples of using these conditions are described in the <a href=\"\/uslovie-proverki-tekushhej-daty-i-dnya-nedeli\/\">article<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h2 data-start=\"0\" data-end=\"37\"><strong data-start=\"0\" data-end=\"37\">Limit on the Number of Conditions<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"39\" data-end=\"111\">In the <strong data-start=\"46\" data-end=\"61\">\u201cCondition\u201d<\/strong> step, you can add no more than <strong data-start=\"93\" data-end=\"110\">15 conditions<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"113\" data-end=\"191\">When you try to add the 16th condition, the <strong data-start=\"157\" data-end=\"166\">\u201cAdd\u201d<\/strong> button becomes inactive.<\/p>\n<p><center><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-6220\" data-end=\"268\">If a step was created earlier and already contains more than 15 conditions:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"270\" data-end=\"512\">\n<li data-start=\"270\" data-end=\"376\">\n<p data-start=\"272\" data-end=\"376\">It will continue to work as before, but when editing, a warning about exceeding the limit will appear.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"377\" data-end=\"512\">\n<p data-start=\"379\" data-end=\"512\">Such a step can be viewed and closed without saving, but <strong data-start=\"436\" data-end=\"463\">you cannot save changes<\/strong> until the number of conditions is reduced to 15.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"514\" data-end=\"575\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\">Copying steps between bots and workspaces is <strong
