The Zapier<\/a> service allows you to connect BotHelp with other platforms. The data is transmitted via a webhook.<\/p>\n

More than 1,500 services are available for integration. Among them are: Google Sheets, amoCRM, Trello, Slack, Jira and others. You can find the full list on the integrator’s website<\/a>.<\/p>\n

In order to set up the integration, you have to:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Create a flow.<\/li>\n
  2. Create a zap.<\/li>\n
  3. Create a trigger webhook.<\/li>\n
  4. Connect a webhook zap to a flow.<\/li>\n
  5. Create an action to transfer data.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Creating a flow<\/h4>\n

    In order to connect BotHelp to another service via Zapier, you have to create a flow. For more information about creating flows, see the Flows<\/a> section.<\/p>\n

    Creating a Zap<\/h4>\n

    To connect the flow and Zapier, you have to create a zap.
    \nLog in to your profile. Click the Make a zap!<\/strong> button and give it a name.
    \n<\/p>\n

    Creating a Trigger<\/h4>\n

    A trigger is an event that will trigger integration, we have to connect the flow to zapier using a webhook trigger.<\/p>\n

    1. Select “Webhook”.
    \n
    \nSelect “Catch Hook” as the trigger. Click the Continue<\/strong> button.<\/p>\n

    2. Copy the resulting webhook URL.
    \n
    \n3. Skip the detailed child key setup, you do not need it.<\/p>\n

      \n
    1. Create a new “Action” block. Add the action after all the data that you want to send via the webhook has been collected.<\/li>\n
    2. Add the “Send person data via webhook” action.<\/li>\n
    3. Paste the link to the webhook in the field.<\/li>\n
    4. Save the action.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n


      \nThe webhook will transfer the data that the user had in their profile when they went through this flow.<\/p>\n

      For example, if earlier you asked which city a person is from and saved the answer in the “city” field, then this field and the value in it will be transmitted via the webhook.<\/p>\n

      Testing<\/h4>\n

      After you have added the webhook to the flow, go to the next configuration step in Zapier and click the Test trigger<\/strong> button. The connection check will start.<\/p>\n

      Enter a conversation with the flow and test its operation. The easiest way to do this is if you have configured the flow using a keyword, but you can also use a landing page.<\/p>\n

      When testing a multi-step flow, be sure to go to the step where you added the action from the webhook.
      \nAn inscription should appear indicating that the test was successful.<\/p>\n

      Creating an action<\/h4>\n

      Action is what zapier will do with the data received from our flow.<\/p>\n

        \n
      1. Select the application to which you want to send data, e.g., Google Sheets, amoCRM, Trello, and others.<\/li>\n
      2. Choose which action should take place in this application, e.g., “add a line” or “create a lead”.<\/li>\n
      3. Connect your account in this application.<\/li>\n
      4. Insert the values of the fields obtained from the webhook into the fields that will be filled in your application.<\/li>\n
      5. Test it by clicking the Test&Continue<\/strong> button.<\/li>\n
      6.  Name and enable zap.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        Completion<\/h4>\n

        The integration is finished, you can check if there is a new entry in your application. This can be a new row in the Google Sheet, or a new lead in the CRM. You decide which fields to transfer from BotHelp to your application using webhook and Zapier.<\/p>\n
