If there is no text, it should be on the image or video. If there is a link in the text, the token may only be included in the link.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"647\" data-end=\"931\"><strong data-start=\"647\" data-end=\"682\">Advertising Data Operator (ADO)<\/strong><br data-start=\"682\" data-end=\"685\" \/>This is an internet advertising accounting system created by Roskomnadzor. It stores information about ads collected from all participants in the advertising market. Any online advertisement in Russia must have a token. It contains encrypted information about the advertiser, the ADO you work with, and the creative itself.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1488\" data-end=\"1561\">Example of a token in an advertising publication:<br data-start=\"1537\" data-end=\"1540\" \/><code data-start=\"1540\" data-end=\"1559\">\u201cerid: xxxxxxxxx\u201d<\/code><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1563\" data-end=\"1654\">Where \u201cerid\u201d denotes the token, and \u201cxxx\u201d is a unique combination of letters and numbers.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1661\" data-end=\"1702\"><strong data-start=\"1661\" data-end=\"1700\">How to Properly Register a Creative<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol data-start=\"1703\" data-end=\"1870\">\n<li data-start=\"1703\" data-end=\"1739\">\n<p data-start=\"1706\" data-end=\"1739\">Submit the creative to the ADO.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1740\" data-end=\"1763\">\n<p data-start=\"1743\" data-end=\"1763\">Receive the token.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1764\" data-end=\"1870\">\n<p data-start=\"1767\" data-end=\"1870\">Place in the advertisement the mark \u201cAdvertisement,\u201d information about the advertiser, and the token.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p data-start=\"1877\" data-end=\"1992\"><strong data-start=\"1877\" data-end=\"1925\">What Counts as Advertising and What Does Not<\/strong><br data-start=\"1925\" data-end=\"1928\" \/><a class=\"decorated-link\" href=\"http:\/\/publication.pravo.gov.ru\/Document\/View\/0001202207140079\" target=\"_new\" rel=\"noopener\" data-start=\"1928\" data-end=\"1990\">http:\/\/publication.pravo.gov.ru\/Document\/View\/0001202207140079<\/a><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1994\" data-end=\"2067\">The main feature of an advertising publication is its <strong data-start=\"2048\" data-end=\"2064\">highlighting<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2069\" data-end=\"2260\">If information about a product\/service stands out with text or images from other content, attracts consumer attention, or contains a clear call to action, it will be considered advertising.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2262\" data-end=\"2524\"><strong data-start=\"2262\" data-end=\"2277\">Advertising<\/strong> \u2014 information disseminated in any way, in any form, using any means, addressed to an indefinite circle of people, and aimed at attracting attention to an advertising object, forming or maintaining interest in it, and promoting it in the market.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2531\" data-end=\"2591\"><strong data-start=\"2531\" data-end=\"2589\">How to Distinguish Advertising from Native Integration<\/strong><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2593\" data-end=\"2631\"><strong data-start=\"2593\" data-end=\"2629\">Advertising (requires labeling):<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"2632\" data-end=\"2815\">\n<li data-start=\"2632\" data-end=\"2685\">\n<p data-start=\"2634\" data-end=\"2685\">Special attention is given to a specific product.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2686\" data-end=\"2750\">\n<p data-start=\"2688\" data-end=\"2750\">Information is exclusively positive and emotionally colored.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2751\" data-end=\"2815\">\n<p data-start=\"2753\" data-end=\"2815\">Contains calls to purchase and instructions on how to do so.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"2817\" data-end=\"2952\">If your recommendation contains strong emotional coloring or a call to purchase or attend an event, it may be considered advertising.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2954\" data-end=\"3002\"><strong data-start=\"2954\" data-end=\"3000\">Native Integration (no labeling required):<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"3003\" data-end=\"3237\">\n<li data-start=\"3003\" data-end=\"3104\">\n<p data-start=\"3005\" data-end=\"3104\">The product is mentioned organically; removing it would change the perception of the publication.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"3105\" data-end=\"3152\">\n<p data-start=\"3107\" data-end=\"3152\">No emphasis on features or characteristics.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"3153\" data-end=\"3186\">\n<p data-start=\"3155\" data-end=\"3186\">Review fits the blog\u2019s theme.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"3187\" data-end=\"3237\">\n<p data-start=\"3189\" data-end=\"3237\">No calls to purchase, links, promo codes, etc.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"3239\" data-end=\"3358\">If you recommend a product you use without explicit emotional coloring or purchase prompts, labeling is not required.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"3365\" data-end=\"3438\"><strong data-start=\"3365\" data-end=\"3436\">How to Distinguish Self-Promotion from Informing About Your Product<\/strong><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"3440\" data-end=\"3461\"><strong data-start=\"3440\" data-end=\"3459\">Self-Promotion:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"3462\" data-end=\"3584\">\n<li data-start=\"3462\" data-end=\"3584\">\n<p data-start=\"3464\" data-end=\"3584\">You publish a post highlighting the advantages of the product and distinguishing it from others. Labeling is required.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"3586\" data-end=\"3608\"><strong data-start=\"3586\" data-end=\"3606\">Not Advertising:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"3609\" data-end=\"3748\">\n<li data-start=\"3609\" data-end=\"3748\">\n<p data-start=\"3611\" data-end=\"3748\">You publish posts providing information about your products, services, events, or how to obtain them. This is considered informational.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"3755\" data-end=\"3820\"><strong data-start=\"3755\" data-end=\"3818\">Is a Call to Subscribe to Your Social Media Self-Promotion?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"3822\" data-end=\"3840\"><strong data-start=\"3822\" data-end=\"3838\">Advertising:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"3841\" data-end=\"3945\">\n<li data-start=\"3841\" data-end=\"3919\">\n<p data-start=\"3843\" data-end=\"3919\">A call to subscribe to your channels\/communities on other social networks.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"3920\" data-end=\"3945\">\n<p data-start=\"3922\" data-end=\"3945\">Link to your website.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"3947\" data-end=\"3969\"><strong data-start=\"3947\" data-end=\"3967\">Not Advertising:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"3970\" data-end=\"4176\">\n<li data-start=\"3970\" data-end=\"4033\">\n<p data-start=\"3972\" data-end=\"4033\">A call to subscribe to other people\u2019s channels\/communities.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"4034\" data-end=\"4062\">\n<p data-start=\"4036\" data-end=\"4062\">Link to another website.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"4063\" data-end=\"4098\">\n<p data-start=\"4065\" data-end=\"4098\">There is no advertising object.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"4099\" data-end=\"4176\">\n<p data-start=\"4101\" data-end=\"4176\">Information is not aimed at promoting a product or company on the market.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"4183\" data-end=\"4243\"><strong data-start=\"4183\" data-end=\"4241\">Will a Prize Draw for Non-Own Products Be Advertising?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"4245\" data-end=\"4263\"><strong data-start=\"4245\" data-end=\"4261\">Advertising:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"4264\" data-end=\"4453\">\n<li data-start=\"4264\" data-end=\"4312\">\n<p data-start=\"4266\" data-end=\"4312\">The draw is conducted by the resource owner.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"4313\" data-end=\"4352\">\n<p data-start=\"4315\" data-end=\"4352\">A product may be listed as a prize.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"4353\" data-end=\"4453\">\n<p data-start=\"4355\" data-end=\"4453\">There is no promotion of the product, no description of its features, characteristics, or price.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"4455\" data-end=\"4477\"><strong data-start=\"4455\" data-end=\"4475\">Not Advertising:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"4478\" data-end=\"4708\">\n<li data-start=\"4478\" data-end=\"4545\">\n<p data-start=\"4480\" data-end=\"4545\">The draw is conducted by someone other than the resource owner.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"4546\" data-end=\"4630\">\n<p data-start=\"4548\" data-end=\"4630\">There is an advertising object: organization name, product characteristics, etc.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"4631\" data-end=\"4708\">\n<p data-start=\"4633\" data-end=\"4708\">The information is aimed at promoting a company or product in the market.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"4715\" data-end=\"4977\"><strong data-start=\"4715\" data-end=\"4748\">When Labeling Is Not Required<\/strong><br data-start=\"4748\" data-end=\"4751\" \/>According to the definition of advertising in the Federal Law \u201cOn Advertising,\u201d information must be addressed to an <strong data-start=\"4867\" data-end=\"4898\">indefinite circle of people<\/strong>. data-end=\"5024\">Push notifications;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"5025\" data-end=\"5052\">\n<p data-start=\"5027\" data-end=\"5052\">Messages in messengers.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p
