The new action "Delete step-message" in telegram bots allows you to delete the step "Message" from the chat with a subscriber.

This feature allows you to create limited time/limited offers for your subscribers.

How to delete a message

1. In the telegram bot constructor, add the “Action” step.

2. In it, add a new action “Delete step-message”.

3. Select one or more messages you want to delete.

4. Save the changes made to the step.

After the action is triggered, the messages selected in the step will be deleted from the chat with the subscriber. And in the "Dialogues" section, the message will be marked as "deleted from subscriber".

Make sure that the following conditions are met in the telegram bot.

  • The "Delete Message Step" action must be placed after the "Message" step to be deleted. Otherwise, the deletion will not occur.
  • There must be a delay of at least 45 seconds between the "Delete Message Step" action and the "Message" step being deleted. Otherwise, the step may not be deleted.
  • The subscriber must proceed to the "Delete Step-Message" action within 48 hours of receiving the message to be deleted, otherwise it will not be deleted.

Important! Gallery type cards will not be deleted. Keep this in mind when constructing your bot.
