Only the primary author—the one who published the post or reel—has the ability to set up the co-publishing growth tool.
Posts where you are listed as a co-author will not appear in the list of available posts when creating a growth tool. Additionally, the settings applied to “All posts and reels” in your account will not apply to such posts. Therefore, in order for the growth tool to work on such a post or reel, it must be published directly from your account.
To determine whether you are the primary author or co-author of a publication:
- Check if you can delete this publication. Only the main author can delete it, the co-author only has the option to hide the publication.
- The main author's avatar is displayed in the foreground above the publication, while the co-authors' avatars are placed in the background.
