BotHelp Integration with ApiWay: Step-by-Step Guide | Knowledge Base

ApiWay

ApiWay service allows you to connect BotHelp with other platforms. Data is transmitted via webhook.

More than 40 services are available for integration. Among them:

Google Sheets
amoCrm
Unisender
Tilda and others.

You can find the full list on the integrator's website .

To set up the integration, you will need:

Create a bot.
Connect BotHelp and the required platform to the integrator.
Create Way integration.
Copy webhook URL from integration.
Add webhook URL to the corresponding field in the bot.
Test the work.
Activate integration.

Let's create a bot

In order to connect BotHelp with another service via ApiWay, you will need to create any bot. Read more about creating bots in the Bots .

Connecting platforms

You need to register on the ApiWay platform, select BotHelp and the second platform and log in to them.

Creating Way integration

Select BotHelp as a trigger.
And in "Action", specify the service to which you want to transfer data from the bot.

Adding webhook URL to bot

Copy the webhook link from ApiWay:

Create a new action.
Add the action "Send subscriber data via webhook".
Paste the webhook link into the field.
Save the action.

The webhook will transmit the data that the user had in their profile when they passed through this bot.

Testing

Click on the "Load/Update Available Fields" button.

After that, you will have a few minutes to enter the bot and test its chain. When testing a multi-step bot, be sure to get to the step where you added the action with the webhook.
A linear bot must be completed to the end.

If the test is successful , the data that can be transferred from the bot will be loaded.
You need to drag the data you want to transfer into the fields in the new system that they should fill. See the gif below:
