A deep link is a link that directs the user to a specific step of a specific bot. This feature reduces the number of intermediate user actions and helps them get to the required bot step in a minimum number of clicks.

Deep links are available for telegram channel bots.

You can create a direct link (deep link) that will lead the user directly to the step with the AI ​​agent.

Benefits of Deep Links

  • Deep links allow you to launch a bot for a user from a specific step.
  • By clicking on a deep link inside Telegram, the user will be immediately redirected to the bot for the specified step. Telegram will not require additional confirmation when clicking on such a link.
  • By clicking on a deep link on third-party resources, the user will be prompted to open the bot in the web version of Telegram or in the application.
  • In Telegram Ads, content with deep links is more likely to pass moderation than content with simple links to the bot.

How to create a deep link

  1. In the telegram bot constructor, enable editing mode.
  2. Open editing of the required step.
  3. In the side menu, click on the menu icon "⋮" next to the step name.
  4. Click on the menu item "Add deep link".

5. Confirm your actions in the pop-up window.

The step will display a generated link that you can copy to the clipboard or delete.

You can only create one deep link per step.

Copying a deep link

To copy a deep link and use it to attract subscribers, you need to:

  1. In the bot view/edit mode, hover over the deep link card in the step.
  2. Press the copy deep link button.

or

  1. In bot editing mode, open editing of the step with a deep link.
  2. In the "Deeplink" block, click the copy deeplink button.

Deeplink removal

To remove a deep link, you need to:

  1. In bot editing mode, open editing of the step with a deep link.
  2. In the "Deeplink" block, click on the delete button.
  3. Confirm your actions in the pop-up window.

Deeplink will be removed.

  • Once a deep link is deleted, users will no longer be able to follow it. Re-create the deep link for the step to restore it.
  • Users who follow the remote deep link will be taken to the channel and will be able to launch a bot that is launched in the channel by clicking the start .

Important: when changing the channel for the bot, all deep links will be deleted

  • Deeplink cards will not be displayed in the bot demo format.
  • When copying a bot or step, deep links will not be copied.
