A deeplink is a link that directs the user to a specific step of a particular flow. This feature reduces the number of intermediate actions of the user and helps them to get to the required step of the flow within the minimum number of clicks.
Deeplinks are available for Telegram channel flows.
Advantages of deeplinks
- Deeplinks allow you to launch a flow for a user from a specific step.
- By clicking on the deeplink inside Telegram, the user will immediately be redirected to the flow for the specified step. Telegram will not require additional confirmations when clicking on such a link.
- By clicking on a deeplink on third-party resources, the user will be prompted to open a flow in the web version of Telegram or in the application.
- In Telegram Ads, content with deeplinks is more likely to pass moderation than one with simple links to a flow.
How to create a deep link
- Turn on the editing mode in the Telegram flow constructor.
- Open the editing of the required step.
- In the side menu, click on the menu icon “⋮” next to the step name.
- Click on the “Add deeplink” menu item.
5. Confirm your actions in the pop-up window.
A generated link will appear in the step, which you can copy to clipboard or delete.
You can create only one deeplink per step.
Copying a deep link
To copy a deeplink and use it to attract people, you have to do the following:
- In the flow viewing/editing mode, hover over the deeplink card in the step.
- Click the copy button of the deeplink.
or
- In the flow editing mode, open the editing of the step with the deeplink.
- In the “Deeplink” block, click the copy deeplink button.
Deleting a deeplink
To delete a deeplink, you have to:
- In the flow editing mode, open the editing of the step with the deeplink.
- In the “Deeplink” block, click the delete button.
- Confirm your actions in the pop-up window.
The deeplink will be deleted.
- After the deeplink has been deleted, users will no longer be able to follow it. To restore it, create the deeplink again for the step.
- Users who click on the remote deeplink will get into the channel and will be able to launch a flow that starts in the channel by clicking the start button.
Important! When replacing the channel for the flow, all deeplinks will be deleted.
- Deeplink cards will not be displayed in the flow demo format.
- When copying the flow or step, the deeplinks will not be copied.
