After connecting the number to WhatsApp*, you can correspond with people through conversations. Advise and support clients.

Companies using the WhatsApp Business* platform are charged for correspondence within a 24-hour window according to the category of correspondence.

24-hour window

Every message from a customer opens a free 24-hour window for you. Within it, you can send messages of any content for free.

After the 24-hour window is closed, you can only send paid, pre-agreed template messages. The cost of template messages is specified here.
 

How to connect templates

  1. Create a template.
  • You can create a template in the profile settings.

  • Or by clicking on the button from the warning message.

2. Enter the template name. You can use Latin letters, numbers, and underscores.

3. The content of the template. Enter the text for the template. You can insert emojis and variables in the message as {{1}}, {{2}}.

When sending a broadcasting using a template, you can replace the variable numbers with the necessary words, text, or use a macro.

4. Select the template language and the category that suits your template from the drop-down list.

5. After you have filled in the information, click Submit for verification, and the template will be sent for moderation on Facebook*.


6. When the template is verified, the status will change to “Confirmed” or “Rejected”.

Errors in sending messages

If the status of the sent message is marked with a red triangle, it means that the message has not been sent.

This message may have been considered spam by WhatsApp*, so it was blocked.

What can I send in WhatsApp*?

WhatsApp* is guided by its trade policy and, like Facebook*, prohibits sending ads. Please read their WABA usage policy. If these rules are violated, the number may be blocked.

The template can be sent not only through the flow, but also in one-time broadcasting, detailed instructions are in the article:

Important! 

Unlike other messages, WhatsApp* templates are sent for a fee, the cost depends on the number of people to whom the template will be sent and the country where their numbers are registered. For example, for 1000 template messages for people from Russia, $47 (3344 ₽) will be charged.

Paying for templates

Payment is made through 360dialog, because the card is linked to the account there.

The debit charge takes place post factum, at the end of the month.
