Text formatting in the Telegram messenger is available in BotHelp. You can highlight important points or key thoughts in the text to draw people’s attention to them.
In Telegram one-time broadcasting, sequences, and chatbots, text markup is available in the following ways: bold, italics, underscores, strikethrough, and link insertion.
Telegram formatting is available:
- bold
- italic
- underline
- strikethrough
- monospace
- spoiler text
- code
- quote
- link
- date
When editing a message, select the text and click on the corresponding icon in the displayed menu. Save your changes.
For “Date” formatting:
- Formatting can be applied to text up to 127 characters (Telegram limitation);
- For the subscriber, the text will appear as a link. When clicked, the subscriber can copy the date and add it to their calendar or set a reminder.
The markup menu is in the “Text” and “Question” blocks, but it is not in the captions to files and pictures.
The markup menu can be hidden. In this case, the text settings will still be
saved.
Attention! When copying a text with markup and when converting a flow to another messenger, you need to check its correctness, because not all messengers support formatting.
