Step statistics
To view the statistics of a specific bot, open the bot but do not click the Edit button. You’ll see the bot’s flow, and at the top of each step — the statistics for that step:
Explanation of statistics
Chats — number of messages sent. Don’t confuse this with the number of subscribers — a single subscriber can receive a message multiple times if they restart the bot. All transitions are counted in the statistics.
Views — number of messages opened. The percentage is calculated based on the number of sent messages.
Clicks — number of people who clicked a button, based on the number of messages sent. If the step has no button, the value will be 0.
“Delay” and “Schedule” steps
On “Delay” and “Schedule” steps, you’ll see the number of subscribers currently on that step.
Clicking the number opens a list of subscribers.
From the list, you can open a chat with the subscriber.
Additional actions with this list will be added in the future.
Button statistics
Each button has its own statistics displayed right on the button:
The percentage is calculated from the total number of message views with the button. Every new view without a click lowers the click percentage. Repeated clicks on the same button do not affect the statistics.
Button statistics work not only in the “text” block but also in quick replies in the “question” block.
Resetting statistics
After testing the bot and before real users begin to interact with it, it is recommended to reset the statistics. This allows you to track accurate statistics for subscribers, not a mix of testing and real users.
(!) If the statistics of a multi-step bot are reset, the bot will stop for all subscribers currently going through it.
Telegram specifics
View statistics are not available for Telegram due to their API limitations. Telegram also does not provide click stats for quick replies in question blocks.
For all other messengers, view and click stats are shown if the message includes buttons.
For Telegram, only URL-type button clicks are tracked, not action-type buttons.
For all other messengers, view and click stats are available if the message includes buttons.
