To send messages at a specific date and time, you can use the Schedule block or the Current Date Check condition.
Current Date and Day of the Week Condition
This condition helps set up funnels for webinars or online courses. Subscribers can be routed into different sequences depending on the date or day they enter the funnel. It also allows setting reminders before a webinar starts.
Current Date
This condition checks the current date when a subscriber reaches a step in the bot.
The date is checked relative to the day and time zone set in your account.
There are three types of checks:
-
Equal to — the bot checks if the date matches exactly.
- Greater than or equal to — the bot checks if the date is the given date or later.
- Less than or equal to — the bot checks if the date is the given date or earlier.
Example use: sending reminders before a webinar.
Everyone who enters the funnel before the set date will receive reminder messages, and those who join closer to or on the webinar day get specific notifications.
Example:
Webinar is on August 25 at 10:00.
-
Subscribers who sign up up to August 24 get extra info messages.
-
Subscribers who sign up on August 25 get the webinar start notification only.
-
Subscribers who sign up after August 25 are asked to wait for the next webinar.
You can also check the current time to split subscribers arriving before or after a certain hour on the webinar day.

Day of the Week
This condition checks the day of the week when a subscriber reaches a bot step. You can specify one or several days.
Example:
If webinars are on Mondays and Fridays at 14:00:
- Subscribers joining Monday through Thursday are registered for Friday’s webinar.
- Subscribers joining Friday through Sunday are registered for Monday’s webinar.
Additional scenarios
You can delay subscribers inside the bot until a specific date to ensure they join the correct webinar, or postpone message sending to add extra steps.
Example:
Today is 20.09.20, and you want the bot to continue on 30.09.20.
Set a condition: “Current date equals 30.09.20”.
-
If true, subscriber proceeds to the “Yes” step and continues the flow.
-
If false, subscriber goes to a delay step “Tomorrow 0:01”.
The next day, the bot rechecks the date to decide further.
Important:
Subscribers who join after the set date will be stuck in this loop unless you add another condition for dates greater than or equal to +1 day (e.g., 01.10.20) to move them along a new flow.
All these conditions are available only in multi-step bots.
